Thomas Feiner: the Swedish singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, possesses one of the most beautiful voices in contemporary music. He first came to prominence with his classic album ‘The Opiates’. The album began as a group effort, with Anywhen, but was completed by Feiner alone. Nevertheless, the release received universally positive reviews and numerous high profile fans.

Feiner continues to release solo material, as well as scoring film soundtracks, and enjoying fruitful musical collaborations with artists such as Steve Jansen, Autumn Chorus and Fyfe Dangerfield. He’s also a member of the acclaimed group Exit North. Yet, no matter how Feiner deploys his skills, his work is always defined by an emotional depth that sets it apart.
Heaven’s Lathe is honoured to release his song ‘Guide For The Perplexed’. Here, Feiner’s sublime vocal glides through a subtle but detailed arrangement led by a seductive, serpentine bass.
The B-side is a spacious remix, courtesy of Peter Chilvers, wherein the gorgeous backing vocals seem to float in space above Feiner’s nuanced piano and perfectly judged voice. Make no mistake, this is a very special record."
